Just got my new car n driver for the month and the cover has the v6 camaro vs the v6 genesis cpe.


camaro $23k 29mpg

genesis $26k 26mpg

havent read the whole story but i thought this was big news.


now of course this is car n driver and there are a ton of chevy ads up and down this beotch so im still slightly skeptical.

i would rather have the challenger but its like 15k more for the srt

actually the camaro is 1,300 more if they are equipped the same way base genesis vs. 2LT camaro

i think i will take a lighter car with a smaller engine and still own either for 1/3 the cost :wave:

one of my favorite cars......i will buy one to restore one and mod one day.

I had a couple friends with them. The turbo t/a's like whoosh said also had that motor and had a higher top end mph.

But the awd and the turbo 6 in the typhoon and syclone made for a he'll of a combo.

I've never seen a syclone on the streets but have got the opportunity to see a few typhoons.

i checked out the local dealerships.........The gen coupe was $25k- 4cyl turbo loaded, $28k- 6cyl loaded......both stick shift.

Camaro 6 cyl $30,5xx....had sunroof lol all i noticed after the price.....

i would rather have the challenger but its like 15k more for the srt

not me. i liked the challenger when it first came out. but now i see at least 5 everyday, from 6cyl's to srt's. the car is everywhere, it made a really cool car kinda lame imo.

i havent seen 1 camaro yet. plus i think it looks better.

I don't like the way the back of the Camaro looks. The rest of the car looks pretty good. I still would rather have a Challenger.

the rear is debatable, but wait till someone slaps a nice set of wide rims/tires out back, then i think it will look lightyears better.

im still more in tune with the powertrain the chevy has. its just way too much of a performance deal.
