whats funny is that ive posted in most or all of the threads they put a link for in that thread.

ya know i actually find that this site has the best attitude (on avg) compared to any other site im on. (no need to mention names) i would think this wouldnt happen.

Performance VW owners always have this "I'm better than you" attitude. If their cars backed their belief I could understand. A guy driving an EVO or STI I can respect if he's proud of his car because I would be to. That said, you don't have to be an ass about it.

We have a little car meet that we go to every now and then. For a good while the VW guys would come out and not even socialize with anyone. They would even park on an entirely different part of the parking lot from everyone. It was pathetic.

They all had little GTI's, modded Golfs, and a couple of older models.

They pay a to much money for a car that doesn't perform just so they can say they got a VW.

Anyone who pays close to $30k for a vehicle that has the engine power of a civic and the looks of a......well....a Golf, is not the type that researches the performance aspects of a car vs. the amount it cost.

Oh, I did go to the VW website and put together a GTI that at least had some what similar features like out car does. It went over $30k. You've got to be kidding me.

The car has 200hp and torque (civic), 210HP for 2010, and goes 0-60 in an insane 7 seconds. It has launch control (HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, That must be how they get that blistering 7 second run).

I'm glad people do like these cars because it makes for good but kicking at red lights.

I've had countless amount of people stop and look at my car, ask me what it was, and always had good comments. I have never seen anyone in awww over a VW, other than those who paid $30k for a German Honda Civic.

Being a MKV VW owner, I can't wait to get rid of it for a CSRT4. Also, I am SICK of hearing other VW owners brag about their interiors. Who cares. If you're comparing a GTI to a CSRT for performance... the CSRT4 owners can laugh when they ("they" being VW GTI owners) max out their stock turbo at 280whp and banana connecting rods with 325ft-lbs. of torque. Some performance car...

At the meets i go to, their are two stock turbo Jetta's that thing they are the sh1t. With the iddy bitty stock turbo btw.

Then we rollout and do some passes, they frequently get destroyed by a multitude of vehicles. They would rather put their money into stupid ass blinking lights and various failmods.

And they did whatever research, like we did, before they bought their cars too. Or maybe mom did and it's a hand me down. At any rate. They just have sour grapes. Toe to toe the Caliber SRT-4 really is just that hard to beat. Bang for the buck-we got it. From what I understand alot of people think the looks are crap. Ok. So maybe she's a love me or hate me looking machine. I'm fine with that. I think my car looks bad ass and aggressive as hell. I didn't want a car that looked "fun" or "sporty". I wanted a car that looked mean and pissed off. The CSRT gave me that, and she can back it up. Nevermind the fact that most of these asshats have never seen a CSRT in person. It's not like we are all over the damn place. Not like say a MS3. Those damn things are everywhere. I was starting to wonder if they were giving them away. All I have to say is, and I hope they stop by and read this, you can talk your sh!t on here, but your tongue hanging out as I blow past you gives you away. And one more thing.
