Fianlly saw one today on the road....I must say they are not that bd looking.

They may not look that bad....but do you really want to stoop to that level?? lol j/k, yea, they dont look that bad....but its till a honda:)

i got into one at the auto show; i didnt like it that much; cause the spedo is in a wierd spot, makes me feel REALLY short [i'm 5'4"]

My friend's moms Honda has like 90,000+ miles on it and the only thing that has gone bad was the battery and he said its becasue it was made in the US. LOL, I would only drive a Honda cause they last so long, not to mod.

I completely agree with this, (i'm not short, about 6'2" and still dont like it) i dont like the new speedo tach arrangement at all, i like the regular analogue styles much better, the digital readout reminds me of older cars that tried to be modern. i know that some race cars have it, but i still dont like it

dont be scared of change.. the new civic is great ,mine should arrive in a few days.. i ordered a bone stock dx, probbably the only crazy one to do it but less weight.. mods coming soon.! p.s i miss my srt

its a nice car, and it is great for what it is meant for, reliable transportation. as far as performance goes, i dont think performance and honda should be in the same sentence. i have beat the **** out of plenty of "modded" civics, preludes, and crx's with my MURANO. no bs, its funny. losing to a 4000lb suv with a heavy ass system and my fat ass with my ac on. and they act all pissed when i laugh.

The front is decent, reminds me of TSX. But the back looks like it was cut off with the knife at least the sedan i saw.

Whats with the ****ty new Accord rear end? It looks pretty boring, and trunk looks like its was smashed in in the middle.

I like the front end alot, its got a mean like about it. I just don't like speedo placement, I have noticed alot of cars are heading that direction, Mini, Scion xB, and now the civic, I want the speedo in front of me. I dont want my passengers looking at how fast I am going, I want them staring at the blurs out the window.

i'm getting one now that I saw this, I need something with no power to get around in in the snow...hope it's got vtac traction control

it seems like is has no nose like the cabin is placed about 3 feet forward from where it would look good

lol, i think the new civic looks like a rsx in my opinion.. cant wait to lower it and put some rims on it.. great daily driver.. oh and yes the srt will crush it in perfomance.. dont hate on the new civic i saw the first one on the road the other day i was like hmmmmmm .. peace out

on a side note i think the deck lid spoiler is cool, reminds me of things ive seen chip foose do..

I like it for what it is... a reliable daily driver. The exterior is nicely done.

They look ok but performance is still lacking.

Thats actually a pretty good looking vehicle. I just wish that the Civic sedan in the States had the same front end as the current ones in Japan, oh well.

I'm impressed with the quality Honda put into this car. A local dealership has one and i liked it...

The Civic coupe looks great. The Civic sedan looks like crap... and for mainly one reason, the placement of the side mirrors. They put them down on the door panels instead of in the backside corners of the A-pillars (where they should be!). It makes the car look dumpy and saggy. Otherwise it looks OK.

The 5-door hatch Civic that Europe is getting is simple FANTASTIC! So sweet looking. Lame to-no-end that Honda won't bring it here!

I still think both versions are neat... The weirdest thing is driving by them at night and plainly seeing their speed.

The new look just doesn't jive with me. I don't like a lot of the stylings of the vehicle, and it looks too...mainstream. It looks like every other car out there, only with more gee-whiz gadgets in the cabin. :(

I like it..somewhat..like Sil said, it looks too mainstream..not bad though.

frankly i love the new civics. in fact i was going to buy a civic instead of the caliber, but i got such a heafty discount i couldn't walk away from it. i love the styling of the civic and do not find the interior or exterior to be too mainstream in fact, i find the design to be ahead of it's time. the dashboard alone makes me feel like i'm going to lift off the ground at anymoment and the throttle by wire certianly doesn't convince me of otherwise.... i just love the thing. also, i still love my caliber. i don't actually have it yet, but i know i'm going to love it anyway. theyr'e both very very nice cars, just very different.

I considered a Honda, but all my fellow Harley riders stated that they would disown me, strip me of my "patch", and toss me out of the "gang". :rolleyes: :p

whoa slow it down. now i might not be a honda fan but you have to give props where they're due. VTEC is one of the greater technological engine adavances since wankely.

The Euro Hatch version?? which concept? I am not liking that euro civic concept at all for some reason, maybe if I saw it in person I would think differently. I like the Civic SI Sedan though;)
