Lowering kit/springs - any news yet?

Have you guys heard that when such kit will be available? I think that is something which should be offered pretty quick...

There is none from Mopar yet, I hope they make them! I am sure other companies will make them as well. Seems as though we will have to wait a little bit, being the car is soo new. That will be one of the first things that I would do!!

Does anyone have a picture of how the rear-suspension of the Caliber is set up? A lot of the rear-multilink setups should involve a camber adjustment kit as part of a lowering kit for the rear wheels, or your camber will end up being more negative than you'd like. This holds true for the current USA Focus, Mazda3, and some other recent compacts that used "innovative" suspensions that gave more room for rear storage. Granted, a minimal drop should be okay without a camber adjustment kit - but you never know...

Moving the springs inward towards the center of the car gives you more space, but also seems to magnify the effect to camber when you lower the car.

Of course... if you don't agree with me - I'm open to hearing additional input :)

hopefully tein or some brand will make something, i had tein s-techs on my scion tC and they rode awesome for a 2.4" drop

it did camber in the rear a bit, but a quick alignment got it within specs, and they had camber adjusting kits for those who went lower with coilovers

I'm hoping for some good lowering springs as well. I had Super Street coil overs on my echo. That sucker handled like it was on rails.
