Holy Pain in the Arse Batman! O2 housing done!

4hrs to do this little POS! I hope it fits (eta 1hr for install pix)!! :mad:

Inlet is 3.7" so its tricky to get a 3" pipe that big with out having it crack on you when you expand. Also the limitations of teh tooling to expand a pipe so close to the bend is hard. I was also trying to see how i can make it so its easier for me to duplicate etc so it took me longer than just making one off for simple shmo.


And why the heck am i getting bit by mosquitos in the freakin winter?


OH yeah , i dont think ill be making this peice in stainless. I cant get stainless to expand wide enough with out cracking so the other option is for me to ceramic coat it.

There will be two options. What you see above for the bolt on guys, or an o2/down pipe merged

Well i must say that I am very happy with the full setup installed! It spools nice and quick, it sounds awsome, it sounds awsome, did i say it sounds awsome?

There is STILL little popping with this setup, i beleive its due to the FBT to a degree. It popps more but i would say simular to a stock neonsrt if that.

The drone in the cabin is there but with just a moderate setting on the volume its not bad. SOme exhaust systems get tiring after a while with sound but i beleive this setup the first time around will make you a happy camper.

I cant wait for the ECU to give me the full power after 1k because im still seeing max 10psi with a maybe 11 psi spike. It does though spool alot sooner and feels good. I have to tip in less into the gas now because it spools sooner.

Ill have a full setup with o2 and intergrated DP in one ready for sale tomorrow!

Im not sure yet, about $200 or so, i have to source out a donut gasket. The factory donut is not 3" so i have to source out a 3" piece.

Horray for O2/DP combo ready by tomorrow!!!! Remember get lots of sound clips! Will you be offering a O2/DP combo with a cat as well?
