Lets here some feedback. I know none of you have hit the dyno or track yet [kits just arrived last week], but let us know what you think of the power and driveability. :D

We all know what you think Matty :D

aaron just to let you know...a buddy of mine down here is going to let me put the car on the dyno with some 109 in the tank...i will send you the results when i get them

2007 corevette will need a realtune stage 2 or a maxed out completely stage 1, i do know that a stage 1 caliber will pull on a stage 3 SRT

damniti can't wait to get home and fnish this! Pulling a stg3 would piss someone off for sure! Although I thought a stg 3 could beat an 07 vette...

I have a hard time believing it will pull a stage 3 nsrt4. I wish it would then I would prob just sell my stage 3 nsrt3 and use the profits to get the stage 2 or 3 for the Caliber and run 10's

Well aaron should know for sure if it can pull a stage 3 nsrt, but if it has less power than a stg 3 nsrt there no way it will since we are heavier...

I had the car on the dyno the day I put it in :) . I'm just waiting for my intercooler to come tomorrow before I get into harcore tuning of this thing. The car made sweet power on the tune it was shipped with, but with alittle bit of tweaking. Those numbers went waaaay over what they were :D . The Car idles and drives just like it did before I did the stage 1, but when I get on it totally different car. Very sweet indeed. I refuse to post my dynos or numbers because of the Bull that went down months ago. Sorry bro.

it puts down more power then a stage 3...at least 15 more WHP on the stock wastegate aftermarket wastegate with a tune on pump easily 35 more i think...race gas well lets just say they need to use HOM against us on pump

I don't believe this you guys are running 13's that is a long way from saying a stage 3 can't keep up. I am not hating just doesn't make sense to me. I won't be pissed either way since I have both.

Hi
My Nsrt4 went 12.7 at 120.1 mph on my 20" rims , never had the plesure of trying the slicks but i know i would of gone at least 11.6 no problem. This thing here i want to run 12.9 , with the 20" rims and the car feels like it will do it no problem. Like i said it feels , but stuff changes when you get to the track. I also hear these cars the calibers don't do well at the track , they are not track friendly. We will see , but no doubt the kit for the money is much better buy than the stage 3 kit from mopar for the Nsrt4 .

Aaron I must say I am most impressed with the STG1. Driveability is very close to stock and WOT is very strong!

Thanks for all the hard work installing/troubleshooting the AEM FIC this weekend. Install is top notch and I really appreciate the attention to detail Brad spent while installing.

I'll be dyno'ing this weekend, and allthough the powerband won't be as strong until we get the modified WGA installed, I'll still post my results.

Overall I doubt you will be able to beat your bang for the buck that the STG 1 offers. The best part is your all set-up and ready for STG 2 when you yearn for more HP. I give the STG 1 a BIG THUMBS UP!

The main differene with this vs stage 3 mopar kit is that you have room for big turbo upgrades etc.

Look at the mph man. Matt is trapping 114mph. Thats pretty much on par with an out of the box Mopar stage 3 neon.

Granted that an out of the box stage 3. Obviously you can tune it or upgrade some parts to go much faster

I really do hope the stage 2 can get this wagon into the 11's except for the fact I told myself I was going to keep mine stock. I guess we all lie to ourselves at some point.

stage 2 will easily get 11's...stage 1 will hopefully show a 12.8 tonight and a 12.5 sunday

Its going to be very hard without 15'' slicks which require a brake swap. I will go as far as saying I can guarantee an 11 second time slip with a real slick, however Im wanting to give it another 2 weeks on drag radials before we give in and toss the slicks on there

Why waste time.. SLAP THEM SLICKS ON!

I HATE DR's and think they're such a waste of money. Put slicks on and go cut some 1.7's... every .1s in the 60' is .2 at the end of the track so git'r dun!

Keep in mind it will be even more time off with this car. The throttle closes if your spinning [sitting at 6k for to long or rev past the soft touch]which causes bogging.

I dont like to bench race, but Im pretty sure we would be in the 11.8 range with slicks as the car sits.

Allright dyno'd my STG 1 yesterday and here are my results:
323WHP and 361WTQ. Boost was set at 16 falling to 12PSI. The pulls were done in 4th gear. I did not touch one bit of the tune. So this is what you can expect out of the box with zero tinkering. Pretty impressive if you ask me. I'm heading out to Cleveland sometime soon to get my modified WGA then I'll hunker down and start toying with the tune.

We had one other CSRT dyno yesterday. He only has a K&N drop in filter and he put down 273/273 on the button. So I am quite impressed with what the STG 1 is capable of considering I have 50 WHP and almost 100 ft/lbs of TQ over stock. Once I really dig into this tune and get the WGA I expect to bump my numbers 20-30WHP over where I am sitting now.

I'll post my dyno sheet soon.

great information. If you could post your entire mod list. Plugs? Filter? I see you have the full exhuast is it catless? Those are awesome torque numbers, now if only we could get some 18 or 19 inch slicks because I don't want smaller brakes to be fast.

What is considered fast?

We have gone 12.5@118 on drag radials so far. Thats not ''fast'' but thats pretty decent considering what we have done mods wise

bryant
06-30-2008, 09:33 AM
Don't get me wrong 12.5 is pretty quick, but by fast I mean utilize the 400 hp we are going to have to the full extent. It sucks we will never catch the Evo X a 10.98 with only a 120 trap those bastards.
