So, we just got a dump of 10 to 15 cm last night, and it made me remeber last winter, when the vents that flow air to the brakes would fill with snow and ice and make the front wheels/car vibrate like a mo-fo. Has anyone tried taking them off? I havent even tried to look, as there's a ton of snow everywhere, lieing on my back trying to find a few screws would make a few of mine loose
On a side note, does anyone know an easier way of getting at the turn bulbs? (the hard way being removing the front fascia, its too cold to do all that right now... haha... damn I miss my garage...)

haha sadly the vents are just held in by 2 clips if you can get behind you bumper with your hand and pop them out

nice, thanks dmatson
are these the same clips holding the front fascia down? put a flathead in'r and pull'r out?
These babies are coming off for the winter time,
they'll be back come spring...

Just a question, why would the brake vents filling up with ice and snow cause vibration in the front wheels? Just wondering

last winter I noticed they'd fill with snow first, then it'd freeze solid and rub against the tire itself, causing it to vibrate, specially @ speed (kinda like a sideways iceicle. Luckily I lived by a pay'n'spray so I'd just hit that everyday; give'r a quick spray with some warm water, good to go.
I just moved back into the city (not by a cheap wash) so I figured I'd just remove the bastards and that should cut down on it. (not like I'll be needing them at sub zero temps)
I also had a problem with the wheel wells filling up with snow and ice and rubbing the wheels, but that can happen on any vehicle given the conditions.
