Trading in SXT for SRT

I am currently looking at a 2008 SRT4 with no MODs priced at $13499.00, straight factory parts, 89,000 kms. I test drove it and it feels really good, hugs the road, no creaks or noises, a real power house! Feels like a solid car. I am trading in my 07 SXT (getting $5500.00) which had about a dozen issues over the years, mainly front end part replacement. Does the SRT4 have the same issues as the SXT(tie-rods, Ball joints, etc) or did Dodge put better quality into this model seeing as it is a performance car? I will make a decision this week if I am going for it or waiting two years to get a Dart. (Tired of buying first year models and having issues)
Hmmmmm.
Thanks for your opinions!

No! unfortunately the srt has same issues. I have 52000mi. on my 08srt an i already had to replace front LCA,tierod ends, rear upper control arm, front struts, swaybar endinks. an now it feel like a wheel bearing is going. some of these parts could have failed due to the fact its lowed an i drive it like i stole it sometimes!!!!!
