why do people on these forums buy a used ECM and get it sent to realtuned to get MS1k put on it, and then go to get the SKIM code transferred onto it. this gives dodge a chance to screw it all up if they update the software. why dont people just get the SKIM key transferred onto the used ECM before getting MS1k installed?
i'm going to buy one for 50 bucks this weekend and send it out in the spring or over the winter to get it tuned.
