Turn Signal and Wiper Switch Problem
I have a Dodge Caliber SE 2008, Automatic, 2.0L 4 cly
The horn from my dodge caliber driver wheel SRS airbag OEM was not functioning. I took it to a mechanic who had taken out the airbag clock spring part to be bought in the US. However, I was unaware that the airbag clock spring is what I needed and not the driver wheel SRS airbag OEM that I purchased on ebay. I found this out after taking it to another mechanic that it was the clock spring that was needed. I've been driving without a horn for a year now and was up for inspection so I went ahead and had him install a cheap $2.50 horn button to the side.
The turn signal and wipers switch functioned for one day, after which the ceased to work. I only have lights when I turn on the engine. The hazard lights work fine. When I break the lights work fine. It's only my turn signal both right and left and my whipers that don't work.
I also mention that before the installation of the horn button to the side. I was already having problems with the turn switch. the inside lights would come on and the lights on the dash would go bright. I would have to gently play with the turn switch for it to go to normal.
This second mechanic is asking me where is the internal fuse box? that is usually inside the car on the driver side? Does a Dodge Caliber DE 2008 have a second fuse box? Or only one which is under the hood?
Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
frm Belize
