Angry 2011 Dodge Caliber "exploding" headrest

Hi all. Has anyone had these terrible things go of during an accident. What is meant to protect from whiplash give you a horrible concussion instead! If you have these, find a way to disable them or something. My husband is suffering from a concussion several weeks after a very MINOR rear enc collision. These crazy things are LETHAL!!!

JAXGAL. I had a similar experience 6 months ago. I was rear ended and pushed into the car in front of me - my headrests "exploded." I was shocked when I notice them deplored after accident. I too did not know I had them. I am suffering soreness, headaches, and "tightness" in the top/back of my head. The most disturbing problem is "memory lapses." It wasn't until recently that it occurred to me what caused the soreness in this spot. I'm short and when the headrest sprung, it hit me right in the top of my head in that spot. I've been to neurologist and am scheduled for brain scan and other tests. I was diagnosis with a concussion in ER. I have a lawyer - rdiaz@LaBovick.
