Question Two official figure of 0-60 mph times on CRD engine

Hi I am new forum, I am very exciting to start looking for my first used Caliber 2.0CRD 136bhp, I want to know whether it is true this car can go 0-60mph in 8.8 second as claim on two car magazine but on car specification website it said do it in 11.1 seconds. The Caliber engine is VAG is part of VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda. The kerb weight is 1560kg compare to a Audi A3 2.0tdi 138bhp the kerb weight is 1380kg is lighter than Caliber and it do 0-60mph in 9.4 second for the same engine and gearbox as Caliber is heavy it should be slower than Audi the official figures it looks fishy to me. Which is right 8.8 or 11.1?
