So, replacing the bearings requires the press, so I'd like to replace the hub. Is this a difficult/possible job?

I can't seem to find the front hub for sale anywhere either.

This may not be doable. Dealer wants 700. For one.

Pull the knuckle and bring it to a shop to RR the bearings. Save alot of labor time and the bearings will be a heck of alot cheaper than a loaded knuckle assembly. Its doesnt use a hub that bolts to the knuckle.. the wheel bearing is pressed into the inside of the knuckle and the hub is pressed into the bearing from the outside.
