Do you have any local audio shops around you? There is one close to me that sells wire by the foot, and its normally pretty cheap..

I got my wire out of a jeep at work for free

Think I can do it? I probably can but I like my cali enough not to destroy it....

My old car used to be similar to that. The windshield would flex about an inch or so. My seats started to come loose, things started to fall apart, and then i dynamatted everything back together(except for the seats, those i just tightened the bolts back down )

Most of the shops around here closed.... Here's a question for you....where do I get the illumination trigger for the eq? Can I tap the line going to the boost gauge? Do you know which wire that is?

To be honest, i never connect the illumination wire when i put things into cars.

You should be able to get it from the boost gauge, but im not 100% sure as i dont have one of those

But yes, you already have everything you need, you wont need an extra harness, and you will need to cut the speaker wires off of the factory harness.

Once you cut the speaker wires, the ones coming out of the radio will be for the line out converters, and the wires that are not connected to the radio are for the speaker wires from the amp.

You have two line out converters, correct?
just my $0.02, but if your going with a line out converter you should look into the mtx re-q. it works very well and you dont have worry about a hit or miss with the line out converters. its a strong possibility that you could get heavy distortion because your tapping into the speaker wires. the mtx re-q will work wonders, the re-q5 will let you run two amps. it will keep your signal at full strength. sonic is a authorized mtx online retailer so you shouldnt worry about getting it from there. they ask $130 for the re-q and $180 for the re-q5 but there is a make offer choice. i offered them $55 for the re-q and they said it was to low and the lowest they would sell it for was $72. a friend of mine paid $72 for it, thats ow i knew to offer $55. the re-q5, they most likely will let it go in the $100-120 range.

just a thought. hope it helps out.
