Ok Im going to explain this in the best possible way.

My car only has 900 km on it, its been doing this since 20km.

Right before shifting, when i press in the clutch i hear a slight clunk, as you can hear the transmission disengaging from the engine, usually only from 1-2, and 2-3 shift..

Now ive had several 5speed cars before, including a cobalt with getrag transmission, so im wondering if this is normal? sometimes its worse than others, and sometimes when parked and shifting into reverse is pretty loud.

anyone else noticing this? is it just because of the dual synchros?

I hear the linkage (characteristic of the car) but not a clunk. I have heard a clunk if I let off on the gas and let the engine brake the car and then give it some gas. The transition from engine brake to accelerate makes a clunk. Almost feels like a U joint on a RWD.
