That 09 SS/TC with "tune" is back

Thats no surprise to me. I have a friend that just got a tune and intake and I was following him around as I usually do. I must say his car can really move. He just got his dynoed and his numbers were 308.5hp 343tq Which would def beat a lot of stage 1 CSRT-4's

Yeah I was just talking to Mac on aim. He said yup that was him. That was like 2 weeks after that first one. He's still gathering up some parts then he will slap on the clamp and Im sure it will be a different story!

thats pretty good power comin out of those things...

at least its a chevy.

im more of a small block v8 type of guy, but chevy did some good things with that powertrain.

he really didnt lose that bad so id be ok with that.

if a caliber added realtune's stage 1 kit...

essentially it is a "tune"

its just that u need an fic in order to get that "tune"

Anyone know what the hell is required for them to get that "tune"?

Their PCM isnt crazy like ours I dont know which programmer is needed for a tune but its that simple. I was there when he did his tune a guy from ohio came down and did it. I just dont remember what he used but it was just something like the diablo if not the diablo.

lol that flash that he is talking about is stage one from gm i believe....i was checking my gm infonet and there is a flash and two new map sensors..didnt say cobalt exactly...but the hhr ss solstics run the same engine and pcm so they must be able to flash the cobalt...

Stage 1 for the Cobalt SS/TC isnt out just yet. It was just put into the system the other day and should be available in about 87 days or something like that. These are just people that know people with handheld programmers that tune the cars.
