EuroTrip 09, some late pics from summer vacation

Heaven't been back home in Croatia for 2 years and it was joy to spend a month there this summer.
It's was my GF's first time going there and she enjoyed more then me I think.

We spent first 2 weeks on the Adriatic Sea coast where most of my family is during summer. Keep in mind it was off season and pretty much empty. From june to end of august the whole coast is crowded to a point where people walk on you on the beach lol.
Then we drove back to germany with my dad to spend a week there before going back to Croatia to see the grandma and to finish it of with my cousin's weding a day before departure

I spent a day at the nurburgring aswell, as I usually do when I'm in germany.
Last time I was over I took a ride in the M5 taxi but this year I drove on it by myself instead.
To bad my cousin didn't yet recieve his GTR at the moment we were there

so we had to use his skoda octavia

Still had plenty of fun crusing around. TRACK IS AMAZING!
Due to a short period of tourist driving and bad weather there was close to no cars compared to past years.

Cute chick in a mini, she was rippinh it hard.

Megane R26R, sick hatch but pricy to rent (600euros for 4 laps

MY turn on the track. Better know the track by heart cause there is practicly no run-off and the elevation is pretty impressive. Nothing like in the games hehe

And a nice Super7 that flew by me like a rocket on my initial lap, too bad for him he was pushing it too much and he blew his engine (should I say his friends engine

)

Grandma was happy to see us

We spent 2 days at different beaches at this island. The scenary is beautifull and worth the stay there (only 20min drive from where we were)

Solaris complex. Huge beach and 7 resorts on the same spot, pretty nice.

I missed my superjet, had to rent one at ridiculous price (40$ for 15min

)

I had to snap a pic of it, guess why?

Nights would allways start with a bottle of my best friend

My uncle's house, or hotel what ever you want to call it. 12 or 13 appartments to rent in there, can't really remember. 5 min walk from the beach.

We also went to see Krka falls, pretty big tourist attraction over there. Hundreds of falls all around, all natural. The boat ride was long and painfull on wooden seats (5 hrs in total)

Old prison, pretty cool and awesome. Whenever the sea would rise water would get in there thus you can call it torturing the prisoners lol..

It feels good to go back home for a month or two but after 13 years spent in Canada my life is made here now... makes it for a good vacation still, most expenses coverd
