Door ajar warning light problem

Hey everyone...as i drive, my car keeps telling me that the left rear door is ajar, it keeps beeping and interior lights go on, and my doors randomly unlock at stop lights. I brought it into the dealership (about 2 months ago) and they replaced the left rear door sensor, that didnt work, so they thought the new sensor was bad, so they replaced it again, still nothing, so they ordered a new BCM (body control module) and still nothing, my mod's are in my sig. They had 2 SRT techs talk to me about it and they both had NO idea what was going on, they checked the way my gauges were wired up and they said it could be one of the gauges causing a short somewhere? But my gauge set-up i have had in my car has been like that for about a year now, (aem wideband, and aeroforce scangauge) and i never had any issuses, this is my first issue with my car, it only has 9,800 miles on it. I am kind of lost when it comes to electronics, my buddy is an ASE certified tech and installed the gauges for me, and he said he used the power from the cigarette lighter for them. If anyone has any clue on what there is a should try, let me know, i'm probably just going to take my gauges out and see if that fixes the issue. The dealership said they dont know what else to try so they basically gave up on me...

I had that happened to me when I had my Caliber 2007, it was the door switch or something like that the Tech said.

i have the accessory in the cigarette lighter tapped for my radar detector and aftermarket radio, and have had it that way for over a year. Guarantee its not that lol.

It sounds like the switch that locks and unlocks the doors is bad to me

yea, but there is no way tapping onto the cig lighter would cause a door problem. I know the can is crazy, but i highly doubt that would be the problem.

when i had my problem with my rear defroster not working, i took it in with my sub and aftermarket radio in the car, and they didnt say anything about the wire i ran to the cig lighter either.

Guess its just hit and miss at some dealers.

More funny things happen, as i was snooping around my wires i accidently tapped my clutch pedal...and come to find out, when my clutch is tapped the slightest bit, or pushed at all...the door ajar light goes out...and when i hit the brake, it goes out also, but if i am just cruising not using the brake or the clutch it is on, i can just sit there stopped though and tap the clutch and as i tap and let go of the clutch the door ajar light goes...open, close, open, close, open, close, however many times i do it...where should i look first if that is the case?

yep, that is acctually what it is, when i push up the slightest bit on the OBDII sensor, the door ajar light goes out, so i now just need to find the wire that is causing it to short or ground out, there are so many wires down there that can be moving haha..im gonna try to figure it out today when i get out of work..hopefully its as simple as just taping a wire up somewhere.. so much for dealerships..they are useless.
