Total Air Bag failure.

I have a 2008 Caliber SXT that I rolled 5 times last night. None of the air bags deployed even with the roof being crushed down almost to the headrest. Luckily I did not break any bones but I do have extensive pain, pulled muscles and soft tissue issue's.
Is this common to roll 5 times and for the air bags not to work.
Do I talk to Chrysler and would they care or just speak to a lawyer?

Thanks.

How did it roll?

The front airbags will typically only go off in a front end impact, the wide airbags will typically only go off in a side impact.

Sounds accurate for this type of crash, air bags would have only injured you further. The only exception would be if its equipped with side curtain, these will go off to protect from glass breakage, I dont think your vehicle has these though.

A 2008 SXT wouldn't have side curtain airbags. I don't think it was even an option back then.

Glad you're okay...

^ Every Caliber had curtain airbags.

The side airbags were optional though.
