dead boost gauge/dead lights

The factory boost gauge was working when I test drove my Csrt4. Now it's not. No light (is it supposedc to light up?) and no needle movement. Is it common for this gauge to die suddenly? The(used car) dealer I bought it from couldn't find anything wrong with any vacuum line. (My son is the head mechanic, and he's pretty good!) Is it a correct assumption that a vacuum line is involved?

Could it be an electrical glitch? Tonight I was suddenly driving in the dark when my brights quit working. (Low beams quit for a short time, too.) I've replaced the turn/dimmer stalk on two other '05-'08 Chrysler products, causing issues like this with the lights. So I assume I'm in for ANOTHER stalk replacement, too.

Honestly, it could be easy as a faulty fuse LOL or the whole box in general, i dont know where you guys are coming up with a faulty vacuum line? doesnt that have somthing to do with the brakes???


But you dident mention the Fuse or the box, i suggest checking those before doing anything drastic.
