Yeah, just because it's "new in the box" doesn't mean it works, especially if it was made on a Friday. Lol I have had my share of that too. We once got a case of Agastat timing relays not one of them were calibrated right. I still won't put one in with out bench testing it first.

PS they charge a restocking fee of $85.00. I might just keep it, mine has two broken latches on the cover.

Agreed, I would do the same. On my Son's Caliber, two pins on the very bottom corroded and we lost the communication bus. Got all kinds of strange errors, I was lucky to find it and another TIPM would have fixed it instantly.
