Re: Build/Price Your Caliber!

did anyone else notice that if you select AWD you can only select the automatic trans?

That stinks. I built it with FWD and it was ~18.5k which is about what the Neon R/T went for.

This also probably means the srt version will not offer AWD.

Re: Build/Price Your Caliber!

the srt-4 version wont be much if anymore than it already is.....27-28k for a caliber srt....thats in the base charger r/t range and even the challenger. look for the srt version to be around 22-24k depending on fwd or awd.

What do you mean "much more than it already is?" The srt-4 does not cost 27-28k. I am sorry, but you have been badly misinformed. If you pay more than 23k, and that is way high, then you are getting rediculously ripped off. I paid 22,500 for mine. That is with Mopar stage 2 coilover suspension, Enkei rs-6 17's, and a sts, all installed at the dealership. Over 2k in upgrades and still under 23k. The caliber srt will be way more than the original srt-4.

Re: Build/Price Your Caliber!

i'm thinking he's talking about including dealer markup.. because there was a LOT of that here in san diego.. where SRT4s were costing around 27k.. which is why some people went to evos or sti's

Im not sure what youre saying 27-28 for a caliber srt-4 also 22-24k huh
plus when you said r/t that was weird considering what in this earth would make you chose something that will be slower and uglier for the price range instead of the charger or especially the challenger
