do you have a wideband?
if you do watch your a/f and let me know what happens.
mine has been doing this for awhile now and it leans out real bad when it bucks. cant seem to figure out whats wrong with it.
mine doesnt do it all the time, its random but mostly when i first start the car and drive it the first 20 min.
The only mod I really have is Stage 1, which isn't installed right now because its winter. I also have Iridium spark plugs in.
Another thing I've noticed and its done this since day one is the clutch engages really hard. It also makes a loud clunk when you get on and off the gas like when driving through town or whatever. Maybe they all do this?
At first I thought it was just the cold
weather causing this, but I was just took this car from NY to FL this past week and it did it down in Florida too.
Mine does seem to do it more when its really cold
, but does sometimes still do it even after driving it a bit with it fully warmed up.
I checked the warranty status of the clutch...its covered for the first 12,000 miles...I have 14,000. *sighs*
I wish I knew what it was. It really sucks for this to be happening, especially like if you're at a stop light and you're the first car in line. I have noticed that if I give it like 2,000 or 2500 RPM and let the clutch out it never does it. I can't do that all the time though because when its snowing you simply can't do that. All you'll get is wheel spin.
I was going to operate the clutch while my dad looked at it if all possible. Otherwise its off to the stealership to see how much money they can yank out of my pockets!
If were still doing SRT Chat Sessions (I dunno as I haven't been here in a while)...maybe its a good question to ask the SRT Engineers if all possible.
Thanks for you help...does anyone else have any ideas?
The only other thing I can try just to try it, is to put the Stage 1 computer back in and see what happens. I don't really want that as I don't want all that extra boost and power in the winter, but if it solves the problem then I'll just deal with it.
