uhh oh...

Just heard from one of my usually-reliable sources that Caliber SRT4 production is being moved to the first week in November. He wasn't sure yet of the reason behind the additional 6 week delay...

snikies.... they my as well wait until the spring, not many people in the northern US and Canada going to want to get their new car right before the snow comes. having to buy 18" wheels and snow tires right away and having to subject your new toy to the harshness of winter ought to slow down the initial demand
maybe they will surprise us with an lsd and 350hp...

lol :D ... delays their death?
Damn, image wacked by the filter:) I know, I"m just playing back, left my smiley at the door:)
Oh silly Dodge, how you do like to tease us. Delay after delay after delay. You know, I'm betting by this point we won't even know what its quarter mile time is until June of next year lol.
This is by far the most retarded product launch in the history of products...

They might as well just switch it over to a '2009' SRT-4... you just KNOW it's going to come down to that eventually... :D
The worst part about it is that I just sold one of my older cars and had the cash to buy one --- BUT this weekend is the Chrysler Classic at Norwalk Raceway Park in Ohio and ...... Sept 14,15,16.

Friend of mine is selling a 69 Dart 340 Drop Top car that I have been toying with the idea of owning. Supposed to be bringing it there this weekend. Might need to add this car first and then sell something else next spring to buy the SRT instead of this fall.

So you're saying that in the future there will be a 2009? :D
Oh well, I guess I can wait anyways.
OMG! this is ridiculous! I wonder why now what the wait is? I agree that this car shoud not be launched this late in the year.
I've been watching this forum for almost a year, waiting for the SRT4 to come out. Dodge fails at effective PR, that's for sure. I would like to at least drive an SRT4 before writing it off, but Dodge may leave me (and many others I'm sure) no choice if the car isn't introduced before we die.

The longer it takes, the more I'm leaning to another cookie-cutter sedan to replace my 12 year old Impala SS.
get a new buick super, that will be a nice car and pretty fast
EXACTLY!!!! They make it like this car is sacred or something!

Couldn't care less; I've decided to either keep my 2005 or buy a Subaru.

Dave
clap...clap...clap hands down to dodge clap...clap...clap. relase a new car right before winter. I cant believe I can still type over the laughter. and this death thing you speak of, ............. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Yeah i haven't figured out what I want to do now. I'm really interested in this car, but uninterested in a purchase in the middle of winter. It would stay clean for like 1 week, if that. I was looking at other hatchbacks. It's near the limit I want to spend, but I was thinking about the Audi A3. I haven't looked into it or seen any reviews though.
