Hi all,

I noticed that my AC isn't working. I tried recharging the system but everytime I went to release the refrigerant, I can hear the system building up and then pop. After it pops, the pressure goes down and I end up wasting a can of refrigerant. Any ideas? Leak in one of the lines or a faulty compressor? Note, the compressor does not make any weird noises when the engine is on.

Thanks.

The most common causes of broken air conditioning are leaks or compressor issues. If your air is blowing cool but not cold, the problem could be a clogged filter, cooling fan problem, radiator trouble, or it could simply be that you need to recharge your AC.
