i've heard speculation here and there and there's limited info on allpar, but this is the model i want.

2.4L 172hp engine, fwd to keep the weight down, and a stick = the fastest non turbo caliber. all i know so far is that it's starting around 17,995 and its "late availability". Does that mean August, or does it mean 07 calendar yr?

I would think August too, usually six months after the actual release/shiping dates of the SE and SXT versions.
