Is the new Mitsubishi developed and manufactured 2.4 liter, 300 hp motor in the Caliber SRT-4 the same 300 hp motor that will be the engine in the new Mitsubishi EVO X?

NO! I believe the x is suposed to have 320 horses now. But our 300 horses are at the wheels.

its supposedly on the same platform that the next lancer [and obviously evo] is gonna be on though.. dont be suprised if the evo is gonna push more HP than the caliber due to price range [they need to rationalise the price somehow eh? ]

either way dodge will still struggle to stay with sti, and evo, over all. i mean sti and evo have been around alot longer then srt.... i think evo's and sti's will still own the caliber, althought i do want the caliber srt4 but i dont think dodge will ever surpass the sti's because they dont wanna jump the damn price range, but the cheaper it is the more i can afford it!!!
