Not really anything additional....you are gonna have a tranny regardless. To be honest CVT transmissions are great in theory but they have a bad track record even when honda makes them. The real problem is the belt, it is very diffivult to find a material durable enough to withstand the many miles and the amount of load. We will see how this turns out, I don;t have very high hopes for it.

It is hard to get customers to get used to the constant full throttle when they push the gas. They end up letting off since it doesn't sound "normal" and they end up decreasing fuel economy and creating durability problems.
