These are interesting times!ResumeSpeed said:Attached is a MAJOR update. I have found all of the 2008 VIN's !!!!!! Via a new search method I was able to re-run batches of VIN's and come up with almost 150 new additions! It took a LOT of hours but I now feel that for 2008 the registry is 100% complete!
I also entered all of the VIN's into a verification process and found 14 2008-2009 VIN's that were NOT SRT's! (no idea how those slipped through as I try an double-check any submissions from owners). In addition I added a lot of cities that were missing on the export models, plus some other fine-tuning and verification.
Next I will be concentrating on the 2009 VIN's. I am confident I can find ALL remaining VIN's...
I figured out after the fact that I can add my own pin using the top toolbar on the map.We don't maintain the map link. It's just a user submission I linked to because it was relevant to the registry.
The map data is not fed the actual registry.
As this point the list needs to be sorted by VIN sequence because date and hours sometime overlap. This is where I come in. I will sort the list and provide build sequence numbers for the grand total and by year (ie, «Number NNN out of 5675, Number NN of NNNN of 200n»).I have now completed going through the 2009 VIN's...
The new total for 2009 is going to be 1,003... making a Grand Total of 5,674 units.
Our 5,674 total is 112 vehicles above the "5,562" that came from the plant source. It's possible, and more than likely, that the plant number did not include pilot models... If you take away the 13 pilot vehicles for 2007 the total becomes 5,661. Then if you subtract all of the 2008-2009 pilot models (-75) you get 5,586. Our number then would be just 24 above the plant estimate (5586 vs 5562).
Since we have PROOF that there are 5,674 total then that of course is the number to go by.
I wouldn't rule out finding a couple more VIN's, but I think it will be very unlikely that we will find any more, I have done a pretty though check through all model years.
I'm not in the list :/ my car has been on blocks and unregistered for 4 or 5 years but I'm finally putting the engine back in and registering it this week! 08 bright silver (now purple 'At long last, efforts of various Caliber SRT4 forums are coming together in order to merge and expand the list of known Caliber SRT4s out there.
The known car lists have been merged together, and a whopping 100 extra cars have been found. The current tally is 177 cars!
Please do consult the registry to confirm your presence and if your car is not listed, REGISTER! Also, if you have missing/incorrect information listed next to your VIN, please re-register your vehicle so we can keep everything accurate.
Soon to come, an online petition to ask Chrysler/SRT/Fiat for a complete official list of SRT4 ever produced.
Our goal is to list all builds of this rare car and to create a sequence number certificate/tag for our cars.
Please register your car on CaliberSRT4Registry.info.
Thanks!
