Yes, all 4 switches (on drivers door) have the translucent part to let the light shine thru (see photo). That's why I asked on the other thread if all 4 are supposed to light up! Why have a lamp cover where there is no lamp!?!!?dommo_g said:You need to be the first. If one is lit up, then they probably all have the translucent part to let light shine thru. You just need to start ripping stuff apart. Get some 12v LEDs and wire them up. Then you can take lots of pics, put up a how-to, and all of your Caliber buddies will love you.
I was on EBAY the other day doing a Caliber search to see what's out there and I ran across an item for a Dodge Caliber Service Repair Manual. I think that this is what a savvy electrical person is going to need to search out how to put lights in each of the other three window toggles. Anyway, I think that it's a good book, but I don't know about the price and shipping cost. Can this product be purchased otherwise, and what would be the cost??? I'm still a bit leary on the item since I do not have a Caliber yet. Soon, soon, soon.DodgeGirlKathy said:Yes, all 4 switches (on drivers door) have the translucent part to let the light shine thru (see photo). I'd like to know, because I'm about to work with it and make all those little switches light up. And am going to see if I can get the rear-window switches to light as well (how???).Silverfox said:Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that if you replace the LEDs, it won't void the warrenty unless your tampering makes them not work.
Is that right?
