I feel they should offer at least some kind of factory "appearence" option for looks. I am all for that. I don't need a turbo, but I want to look good.
I don't know what they would delete off the looks of it so that informed people know it is not an SRT-4. I think it would be cool for the SE,SXT, R/T to look good to. Not everyone wants a turbo I guess.
instead of the SRT look thing, i bet they'll go rallye look instead :)

ohhh, ohhh I like that idea, I hope so!
cause then.. you could get the mean look of the rallye lighting w/ the performance of SRT ;)
I actually liked the extra lights on the Rallye version.
Man, i actually saw for the first time in person the SRT Appearance package on the Neon...I thought it was horrid. But, thats just my opinion.
I though it looked pretty neat myself, but that is me anyway.
i think they should have an appereance package similar to the srt but without the uber-aggresive hood but if they do hav a packagelike that theey should also offer a performance pack
That would be a good idea, like 15-20 more horses or something, I dunno...
They will probably have a more aggressive body trim option for the SXTs and R/Ts, but I doubt there will be a SRT design package only because the Neon's SRT design package didn't sell as well as they hoped (so I'm told.)
I think if they offered it not in just the last year of the Neon it would have sold more. That should have been the new face of the Neon in 2003 when they had the little face lift. Then added the "nostrils" and hood/ bodykit/wing for the SRT one IMO. I think they then would have sold more and not tried to push it as an extra package in the last year of production, which many knew I think.

Hello all,

Currently there are no plans for any additional appearance package for the 2007 Dodge Caliber. For the inaugural year, appearance packages are uncommon since they take some time to design, test and produce.

I expect the assortment of factory options and Mopar accessories to grow quickly when the Caliber is established in the marketplace.

I really hope that there will be aftermarket parts for the Caliber soon ,
I own a SXT and would like the SRT look for it and would like to maybe lower the car a bit to and increase power.
honestly; i'd rather have an option from the R/T to have a rallye-appearance instead of the SRT-appearance.
edit- wow im already a senior member. lol .. ok, back to topic!
If you went to NAIAS There was a Caliber all done up down stairs. Had some nice Carbon tails!
that would probably be the rallye: [i "painted" the cf headlights/tails & hood, got rid of the bottom paint that was on it, put on some black spoked wheels, and stealth-ified the bottom fogs & "intercooler" [which is actually a radiator]

i think a simple set of conservative side skirts, and front & rear lip would go a long way. Since the stock wheels on the r/t are a pretty good size anyways, a nice 1"-1.5" drop would complete the look IMO.
