Some time ago, I have felt that my caliber stay accelerated when the engine is in slow motion, is this normal? somebody happens it too?
My previous cars never didn't do this… either they were American cars… I don't know if this has some relation.
The rpm are 700 in slow motion, if I leave to the gear box dead after drive, the rpm sometimes doesn't lower of 1000 or 11000, and stay stopped so during some seconds (10 or 15 seconds), after descends slowly to 700 again.
If there is something written about this in onother post, please, sayme where, I can't find it.
Thanks.

Depending on conditions 1000RPM-ish is normal idle, when the engine is warm and the load is low (i.e. A/C off, etc...) it will enter a fuel saving mode where the idle is dropped to around 700RPM.

Putting the car into Neutral or Park, turning the steering wheel (while stopped), or stepping on the gas lightly may cause it to return to the 1000RPM idle.
