Hey guys i have a 2008 dodge caliper there is a transmission issue wanted to get some input before replacing the whole thing.
Car will go forward and reverse but has like a bucking when it moves. transmission is not making any grinding or clattering noise at all. i drove it down the rd and when you give it throttle it has a jolting bucking affect
I have replaced the transmission solenoids and still getting the same affect

I had a similar issue of sounding as if the engine was being choked out, I took off the Intake manifold and cleaned the louvers and unit thoroughly, replaced the sensors (MAP, PCV etc) also the Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve, installed CAI air system, and put a bottle of marine engine cleaner in the gas tank at full capacity fill up. No more hesitation, more like a pony ready to spring forward and goooo! This happened at 115,000 mi and hopefully it'll only be body work from now as it rusts away on Maui with the salt air. Runs great now though. Good Luck-
