Changed throttle body about 3 months ago ran fine now at idle revs sit at 1500 any ideas starting to regret buying a caliber now 1.8 petrol .
Spent a fortune on it already new front subframe , new shocks , new wishbones , heavy duty drop links, track rod ends, steering rack ends . Will it ever end

Sorry to know what you going through with your Caliber,Just like you i have put money into this car which i was able to do ALL the work myself from 2 sub frames front and rear,trailing arms it never ends for now I'm my own mechanic until i ran into something major i can't fix.If this car starts to eat up your wallet i would let it go.

Sorry to know what you going through with your Caliber,Just like you i have put money into this car which i was able to do ALL the work myself from 2 sub frames front and rear,trailing arms it never ends for now I'm my own mechanic until i ran into something major i can't fix.If this car starts to eat up your wallet i would let it go.
Yes was thinking about that get it sorted new mot and out it , funny I dont have any trouble with my 21 year old volvo mk 1 convertable . Hey ho modern technology for you

My mechanic changed throttle body..cleaned injectors..still 1500 rpm..i advised him to check inlet manifold gasket..he replaced it..problem gone..2.0l Australian version RHD..Smooth and very efficient now.

changed pattern etc for original mopar one problem gone , next job new rear subframe and exhuast if i can find one in uk
