Hello everyone!
I am new to the site/forum (stating the obvious, 2nd post). Anyway, today I just put a $100 deposit on a Caliber! :D My question is what is a good way to haggle the price down once it gets here. I talked about the issue a little bit with the salesman, almost convincing him to give me the "Friends and Family" discount. He said that he might be able to. I believe the MSRP was around $17,850 and he said after the discount it would be $17,050 (around that number). Is this a typical F&F discount? Thanks for all of the help and info.

You got about an $800 discount through F&F. I got a regular ol $600 discount, no F&F. $500 was the regular rebate. I don't recall what the other $100 was for. I think you should find out if you're being hood-winked.

My bad, the price I was told after F&F was not including the $500 rebate, so after that the price is aroung $16,550.
