*Update* There are two procedures for this process now.
For the 2007 to 2009 Calibers, the part numbers and instructions are below.
For the 2010-2012 Calibers, the how-to (although similar) starts here: 2010-2012 Instructions and Part Numbers

2007-2009 Part Numbers:
Driver's Door Part Number: 04602780AA
All other doors: 04602787AA (x3)

(From a Dodge Charger)

Plug and play too! No more having to take electronics apart! :bigthumb:

Driver's Door Part Number: 04602780AA
All other doors: 04602787AA (x3)

(From a Dodge Charger)

Step One: Pop off the screw cap, and remove screw in the pull cup

Step Two:

Slowly, and carefully, start to remove the bolster. I found its best to start around the middle of the top of the bolster with something that won't gouge up the plastic. Once its started, work your hand around, and pull the rest of the clips out. The bolster is still attached to the door by a couple of supports, so you don't have to worry about dropping it.

Step Three:

Carefully peel back the foam surrounding the plugs underneath. (The green tape is what i did, when i took them off before to paint my arm rest areas on my doors.)

Step Four:

Unplug the connectors

Step Five:

Carefully remove the switches from their places. I think that they all have about 6 tabs holding them to the bolster.

New (Left) VS. Factory (Right)

Step Six:

Plug in the new switch, to make sure it works. (when you test the switches in the passenger door, make sure that those widows are not locked out by the master switch, as I found out the hard way, when the other windows are locked out, their lights are off) Then follow the above steps in reverse order, and repeat for each door.

When done, it will look like this:

Now, having said this, the high-end Avenger switch MAY work as well, as it has AUTO driver & front passenger, but my dealer wouldn't let me return parts like this after I order them, so I went with what I knew would work. But if somebody wants to experiment with the Avenger drivers door (AUTO drivers & Passenger windows) and passenger door switches (Power Lock switch, & AUTO Down Window) The passenger door clip is a different shape than the other clips, so with a bit of modification, the Avenger bit might just fit in!

EDIT: At this point it seems the Avenger switch will NOT work

how much? :bigthumb:
how much? :bigthumb:
I paid $58.50 CAD for the drivers switch, and $11.40 CAD for each of the other switches...not bad considering that had i tried to modify my original ones, i would have ruined them anyways, and then bought these  ... just over $100 out the door with taxes included, not bad at all IMO

very nice man. Really adds to the car IMO and I was super pissed when I found out the car didn't come with this from factory. I never thought I could buy them.

Thanks

ebay or those online dodge parts places...just make sure that its the part numbers above, or you might get one that is the same as you have now! IMO, its only the drivers door one that is pricey...hence why i just bought all mine at the dealer
good job man. this absolutely should of been standard on the srt along with auto down for passenger and music gate.

when i start to tackle the interior mods ill have to order a passenger switch for the avenger if no one has done it and see if it works.

I didn't know if I should or not, but since somebody else asked, I will! :bigthumb:

i'd love to know if the avenger bits worked, but as i didn't feel like spending the money on the parts for them to not work, i just did this.
I forgot to ask What year does the Charger have to be? I work for a preown dealer i'll see if I can get it order tomorrow or might jack it off one of the cars we got :jester::jester:
