I ordered my Caliber today!

It is a Marine Blue SXT with musicgate, sunroof, drivers convenience group and 4 wheel anti-lock brakes! I can't WAIT until it comes in!!!!!!! 6-8 weeks so too long!

I hope it comes in before the rebate offer ends!

The good news is my husband likes it. He is so super picky about cars and only drives muscle cars but he liked it as soon as he saw it and sat in it! He hates my Camry and hates to drive it even more so I am glad I will have a car he likes.

I have to find outside financing though because they offered me 7.7% and I think that is not very good considering how high my credit score is. They said their financing isn't as good as local banks so I have to look around I guess. I also have to start organing my mp3 player!

And as a side note, I have other good news!

I got my scores back today from my teaching exam I took 5 weeks ago and I PASSED! Horray!!!!!

Today is such a good day!!!

I CANT WAIT FOR MY CALIBER!!!!! :D :D :D

I will certainly post when it comes in, and give you guys lots of pics!

LOL! You guys are too funny.

Well it would be nice if 25Gs fell in front of me too. It is nice not having payments on my current car but my husband says it won't last through the summer without a major repair. Its not worth fixing and its not worth buying a used car when I can get the Caliber for so cheap considering its a new car. Money will be tight until I get a teaching job but we'll make it work I hope! :)

Wilson, sweet ride!

I think my husband drew one of those once, you can check out his site, www.paulkuras.com. Although, it may not be on the site.

He said your car looks fun to draw! :)
:eek::eek::eek:<<< Not "eek" this case is "gaw dropping with bug eyes"

Katie, tell him I want to take classes from him because those are amazing!!! I love the '66 Pontiac GTO, well I guess I like all, but that would be the one I would choose if I had to. He goes have a gift, like already mentioned!!

Tell your husband to check out my 1970 Challenger at

Awesome Challenger man! I really like the late 60s/early 70s Dodges. I was about to buy a 68 Coronet once... but was still in school and didn't have time or resources.

Excellent drawings your husband does! Cool site, thanks for showing. He went into industrial design... does he do that kind of work now... if you don't mind my asking?

GOT; Thanks.

I have had the Challenger for about 8 years now. Wanted one since
I was 16 years old after seeing the movie Vanishing Point with
Barry Newman. I'm now 42 years old so it took me awhile to get
one.

Hi everyone, thanks for the comments. My husband definitely is talented! I can't even draw a stickman!

Yes he did go to school for Industrial Design but he never actually did work in it! We met after he graduated and I was just starting school and then he didn't really want to get a job in ID because he would have had to move away (no ID jobs in Delaware!) and that would have been the end of us!

So he does this car drawing business on the side. Right now he is working on tons of NASCAR drawings to sell at the race in June. I hope they sell!

He promised me he would draw my Caliber for me sometime! Yay!

Hi OliveCaliber.

I live in Dover but I ordered mine from a dealer in Smyrna, Brandywine (BCP for short) Dodge on DuPont Highway.

I was going to order it from Holden Dodge in Dover on Governor's Ave but ever since I have been interested in the Caliber, they haven't even had ONE come in! I asked the salesman to call me when one did came in and I continued to check the website. But in the meantime I got antsy and drove to Smyrna to see the one they had in. So I figured I would just order it from them.

BCP was nice enough. I kept getting the feeling that they were patronizing me since I am a young girl and/or they weren't taking me seriously as a young girl but maybe I was just paranoid. They have been nice and helpful. No pressure either (unless that was just them not taking me seriously!)

I hope they give me a good deal when my car comes in... I will let you know!

Where in DE are you?

We will have to start the first Caliber club! ;)
