Re: Instrument Warning Lights (Washer Fluid)

The light didn't come on because there is no light to come on. Just check the level on a regular basis and keep a few jugs in the back.

My Caliber is currently in the shop, so I can not verify with mine...

...but I have previously read someone else post that there is no washer fluid warning light on the Caliber.

Chrysler follows other comapies when it comes to this much like the floor mats. Not the first company to eliminate them.

I'm fine without the wiper fluid warning, but give me floor mats. Yes, chances are I'll upgrade the floor mats myself later. I feel floor mats in a new car are expected like toilet paper next to the toilet.

Speaking of the instrument cluster and
out of curiosty you might want to try this:
1.Place key in ignition and turn to Accessory position.
2.Set readout on tach to odometer total miles/kilometers driven.
3.Press and hold down selection button on odometer/tach.
4.Turn key to run while holding selection button down.
Now watch the readouts on the tach and total readouts
the tach goes thru a series of different tests and checks.
I was waiting for my better half and was bored.

I have no idea what it exactly is testing but watch the tach and the readout
in the window below the tach, looks as it if it may be calibration test.

I might be mistaken, but i think i read somewhere in the manual that the vehicle information centre display thingy (if you got the driver convienience group with your cali) shows "low washer fluid" warning... but i have yet to see if go off.. and have run out 3 times already. Not very handy when the roads are being salted after a light snowfall.
