I own a 94 Grand Caravan LE with liability only, and then full coverage on my Caliber R/T and I pay less than $100/month to insure both vehicles. I'm almost 30 & married with a clean driving record.
My understanding with State Farm is you get the big break on insurance at 25 or married, whichever comes first. There is not a discount for both. It may be different now but it was like that several years ago.katiescaliber said:Wow! $350/month is insane!! If insurance is more than the car payments, then it is too high!!![]()
The insurance for my Caliber will be like $89/month for full coverage with state farm. That is with a clean driving record.
I live in DE. I'm 24 and married.
My insurance went down a lot when I got married! Can't wait till I turn 25 in a year and it goes down some more!
I hope that helps you...
You are absolutely right, I'm 40, live in upstate NY and pay 315.00 every 6 mos. I have 1 no-fault accident counting against me. If I lived closer to NYC, it would probably double.OrangeRT said:Hey there. I am in Cleveland and paying $261 per half for full coverage, full limits. We have nothing ever on either of our records. We are above 35. higher than avg deductible.
I really boils down to Area, driving record and Deductible!!!!
The discount seems to be split between the two. When I got married, my rate dropped and when I turned 25 it dropped more. I think the total discount is the same as just turning 25, but getting married gives you part of the discount early.PAJeep said:My understanding with State Farm is you get the big break on insurance at 25 or married, whichever comes first. 'Zactly...and age, and what insurance company you have, and what other "things" you have with your agent..that you may be able to lump in with.OrangeRT said:H

Woah woah woah, $245 total for all of those?muzzysgirl said:I pay $245 a month.. Full coverage on a SRT-4, SRT-10, R/T Caliber, and an icky Plymouth Sundance. I have 1 accident, 1 ticket (10 over), married and both over 25.
There.... I think that sums it up. LOL
Oh... Farm Burea ins.
Yes, I switched from Allstate because every six months my rates were increaseing. That was frustrating. Farm Bureau is good for a year. That's nice. I also saved $1100 a year switching to them. I guess I also have a couple of other policies through them as well... They and alot of other companies will/are going off of your credit rating as well.Amandyke said:Woah woah woah, $245 total for all of those?
