Hello everyone,

Our '08 Caliber SXT 2.0L is intermittently (but seemingly more frequently) stalling right after start-up. We've already changed plugs, throttle body (and re-calibrated), air filter, PCV, and checked battery and starter relay (and box/wires - no corrosion). Also it doesn't appear to be the SKREM as no immobilizer lights.

It always starts so I'm guessing I've got spark, air and fuel but then it will die within a few seconds. There's also is a bit of a brief squelch coming from the serpentine belt at 800 RPM's that sounds like it's dry or slightly slipping. I'm not certain if these are related but not sure what to inspect or do next. I'd appreciate any constructive ideas this community might have. We're getting frustrated and would love some advice.

Kind regards and thanks,

Chris
