I am taking about the size of the Stereo "slot", if you will. The size of the hole that is cut to fit the "stock" stereo into.specialk01510 said:im still confused. are you asking if it will be a display like the bottom one. no, it wont be.
Perhaps I can provide some assistance.Xtreme Thunder said:Cool, when you get a chance to measure it just let me know what the results are, just curious if it is 2"(1-DIN), 3"(1.5-DIN), 4" (2-DIN). I am already thinking of after market stuff for it. Thanks
Unfortunately we aren't provided information that detailed. Since we don’t have one on site, I can’t help with the approximate exterior size either.Xtreme Thunder said:Thanks Dan,
Do you have the measurements of it? I was trying to cross reference, but no dimensions were given that I could find. It is not a priority, but would like to know for future reference.

More then likely you would be able to use a dash kit similar, if not identical to any of the vehicles I listed above. It’s the beauty of parts sharing.Xtreme Thunder said:dommo_g: Thanks for you input! I am mainly asking because I want to put in an aftermarket double-DIN Navi when I get mine. I realized I will have to wait for the install kit, but like you said the Durango one may fit with little fabrication. Thanks again!
Video? Without a full-front screen, how would it handle video?DodgeInfoCenter said:On page 170 of the 2007 Caliber owners’ manual it also lists a RAK which appears to be a new option. It lists the following, AM/FM/Cassette w/ 6-disc CD with optional satellite radio, hands free phone, video and mp3/wma capabilities.
If it's anything like the radio in my mom's Pacifica, it has standard Yellow-Red-White A/V jacks on the front to hook into an external screen.donsmith said:Video? Without a full-front screen, how would it handle video?
