I just ordered my new dodge caliber R/T AWD!!!

The options that I am getting include, Sports appearance group, heated front seats, and the musicgate sound system.

We also just ordered a caliber for my younger sister and she is getting the SXT.

Now all I have to do is wait for my car to arrive. Which is the hard part now!!!!

Looking at the list of features it says Solar Control Glass, so I am guessing that it is tinted windows in the back three. Possibly Dodgeinfocenter could explain better what Solar Control Glass is.

Both of us are getting black, I am getting red seat inserts while my sister is getting blue. She just better not confuse my caliber with hers.

Sorry about hoging all the calibers, you might want to go yell at your dealers and tell them to get some calibers on their lots.

Yeah, the dealers around me have no idea, and they are not leaking out any info about a specific arrival date/ week. They keep it to about a month guess.

I hope the black with red looks awesome!!! I figure it will but I guess I will know for sure when it comes. I guess it makes sence your dealers not leaking arrival dates. They just don't want to get your hopes up.

Yeah I drive past the closest one (<2min drive) atleast 3-4 times a week. It was funny, I was driving to work one day, late already and passes me a car carrier with Dodge vehicles on it and I was like oh shit!! I made the quickest U-Turn I could and went to the direction it was going. It did stop in front of the dealership, but filled with mini vans, chargers, and pacificas, I was totally pissed lol. I guess your right, they don't want me knocking down their doors if they are worng.

Haha I bet that was a huge disapointment. Make the u-turn for a bunch of mini vans. I bet the dealers are all afraid of you now, staking their employees asking questions, and following their transport trucks around.

LOL They probably dread every Silver Neon they see that pulls in there. Are you kidding, I even drive through at night to stalk the lot to see if they are hiding any in the back lot! I travel with a camera all the time now! Can you say obsessed?

I am going to be hounding the telephone asking for the build status of my caliber. They are just going to get so sick of me calling they will just not answer the phone when they see my number. I have been looking at the local dealer next to me and they don't have one yet either. I live 15 min from the HQ and the local dealer doesn't have one. Kinda strange, but does anyone know how long it will take to bulid and ship a caliber to lets say Pontiac Michigan?

Until I graduate college (May) and get a real job, then I will. I figured waiting another 6-12 months I will be better financialy and get one fully loaded! I want to test drive various ones though. I have 4 dealers I can bug!

Yea we both can't wait to get ours. I am been looking at this car since the first photos from the Genivia Auto show. Sorry about the bad luck with the neon rt. I am sure that was a fun little car but the caliber should be better. I am going to call tomorrow and see what the status of my vehical is.

Extreme you keep after those dealers. Some day they will give in and bring their supply of calibers out from storage lol.

Believe it or not but Canada is a larger market for Compact Cars making up approx 40% of all Canadian automotive sales. In large metropolitan areas such as Montréal, Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver they sell closer to 60%.

If anyone’s worried about bugging your dealership you can always give the DaimlerChrysler Customer Assistance Center a call. As long as you have a VIN or VON number you should be able to track any vehicle through production.

You can contact them at 1-800-992-1997 Mon-Fri 8am-8pm EST.

I called the customer assistance and they told me that they didn't have my order yet. Since I just ordered it yesterday I assume it isn't in the system but what are the different stages of that my order can be in? I am assuming that it will get schudeled to be built then have its build date and shipping date but is there anything else in there?
