HEY GUYS NEED SOME HELP

maybe dodge infocenter...

my car was "d1" 16 march
then " F "17 march

and for more than two days its "KZOA" (PLANT HOLD)??

spoke to daimler canada they know what my car is with vin and verything.
but no more info, they say go to your dealer for shipping issues.

they also told me that a big bunch of them where held weeks earlier and that maybe its the same thing again???

could that be?

it would make no sense except if their waitin for stock to pile up, so they could mass distribute them (whatever its called lol) to every dealer at the same time .

need your input

A vehicle being held at the plant occasionally happens and it could be for any number of reasons. That’s why dealerships give you an estimated delivery date rather then an absolute figure.

Honestly this is not uncommon for new models and unfortunately there isn’t anything you can really do about it. The factory will ship them out when there ready.

KZ OA is when they pull a vehicle after it already passes inspection and perform a series of tests at the plant. My old SRT-4 neon was KZ OA for a week and it was delivered with over 30 miles when i got it right off the car carrier. At least you'll know that your vehicle passed a bumper to bumper inspection by employees at the plant..

hmmm, here's a thought from a usually-cynical consumer.... ;)
Any possibility that DCX might be keeping Calibers off of dealer lots right now, considering the current sales incentives this month on minivans and Ram trucks...? "Out of sight, out of mind" - won't distract ppl from buying minivans and Ram trucks...???

Kind of supports the next ship date of 3/29 that my Caliber has, and someone else's on here too. The cars would get here after the current sales promotion is over!!

Or, maybe I'm just reading too much into it... !

I see you have your car on the way. If any one else from Canada has this problem here's the explaination.

We had a bit of a snafu concerning Canadian cars. Its seems they have a law about an air bag sticker. If the car has a passenger side air bag then on the side of the dash next to the passenger door there needs to be a round sticker showing a baby in a car seat, in the front seat with a red circle with red line thru it. We didn't realize that Canadian cars had to have them until they'd been built and ready for shipping. So we stayed overtime to work the lots and put this sticker on all the Canadian cars. Sorry, from the Employee's at Belvidere for this inconvience. We hope you enjoy your car and it was worth the wait.
