Wish I'd bought a Neon last year now, because I saw too many problems with the new Caliber.
1. Perhaps if it was a 2-door the entrance would be wide enough to more easily get in and out and not obscure vision to the left when the seat is back.
2. If you can't get a fist between your head and the roof with the seat down all the way, there isn't enough head room. (Although, the one I drove had a sun roof which can make a difference) I've had jobs requiring hard hats and never had a car in my life forcing me to take it off just to drive. Not a cool look to turn your head and your head gear doesn't turn with you.
3. Going over a speed bumb, the pain in my shin alerted me to another problem with the center console jutting out. Thirty years of driving experience and bruises has made me aware of how uncomfortable this can be especially on long drives.
4. The arm rest sliding back and forth was just plain annoying and the storage compartment was too small and too far to the rear forcing one to torque the shoulder awkwardly to reach anything. And having a cooler in the glove compartment just takes up more storage space.
There were other things I noticed about positioning of the steering wheel and gear shift, but by that time I was already uncomfortable enough not to care anymore. I'd already decided to look around for a used Neon.
