I've mentioned a few times that I was moving from OK to ND. Here are a few pix from the adventure. The Caliber with 17" wheels fit just fine on the car trailer. BTW: renting from penske was an awesome experience. No breakdowns, truck only had 12k miles, and I got ~10.5-11mpg. Not bad considering the truck was full and I was pulling a Caliber with 300+lb of books in it ;). It was also about 1/2 as much as U-haul and had unlimted miles.

Next time I'm sittin' back with a cold Shiner, I'll be thinking of ya- well probably not, but good luck anyway. What prompted the move?

Well... I just graduated with a M.S. in meteorology (think crazy storm chaser guy) from U. of Oklahoma. I already had a B.S. from there and people in this field tend to frown on people getting all of your degrees from the same place so I headed off to U. North Dakota for the PhD. Not sure if I can find any Shiner up here... I'm a big fan of Shiner bock. Luckily I've seen Blvd wheat around. That's my other staple.
