Well, I bought a Caliber SXT today. I have been looking (and reading) all week about different vehicles and the Caliber is my car. I am going from a 2002 Dodge Ram Quad Cab and it is smaller but it is perfect for my needs. I rarely used my truck bed and the gas mileage was poor. I drive ALOT (I am in sales) so it was time for me to do something.

This site has been a great help in my decision so thank you!

Here is my car and below are the wheels I am putting on it mid next week, along with getting the windows tinted:

Thanks.

I wanted them to look kinda like the wheels that will come on the SRT version and I didn't just want stock aluminum wheels, ya know?
ghoticov,

Welcome to the forum.

That Caliber looks just plain clean and sharp!

Looking forward to seeing those wheels on it when you post the pics.

By the way, isn't that the Kaufmann's house in the background directly above the driver's door in the middle photo? ;)

Yea, I guess its a matter of preference...I really like chrome wheels and they look alot like the wheels that are coming on the SRT4 Caliber.

Thanks, Now I want a Caliber even more!!!:D:D

Welcome!!:)
I see what you're getting at, they do look like the SRT wheels.
Congrats Ghoticov!

Show us images when you put those wheels on:cool:
Thanks everyone, I will certainly post some pics as soon as the wheels are on. Should be done by the end of next week.

The only thing I kinda wish I had were factory fog lights but I guess I could always get those added later?
I wonder how easy it would be to add fogs seeing how there are those linear plastic-fill-elements in the holes. You'd have to break out the craft skills and carve those things out... I guess.

Yea, after I posted this I realized that some of the body would have to modified. Oh well, I guess I just won't have fog lights. LOL I still love it either way!
There are those Mopar black-plastic inserts that you could use to hide the carved out look of the holes, if you were to go that route.

In the Caliber brochure on one of the last pages there is shown an orange Caliber with those black-fog-hole inserts. They look cool.
I just put the deposit down on my black SXT yesterday. I'm getting the 2.0L with the CVT and speed control. It should be in some time next week. I can't wait to get it!

I know I'm not getting every single possible option, but it should definitely be a large step up from my red '96 Neon which died due to fuel regulator problems, but was still good for 101,000+ miles.

I just wanted to say "hello" and introduce myself. I discovered these forums while looking for info on the Caliber and I must say that this site has been a great source of information. Thanks!!
