anyone else notice that on http://www-5.dodge.com/vehsuite/ModelSelector.jsp# the ride height on the r/t model is higher than the sxt?? is that due to the larger wheels? doesn't make sense to me...you would think they would have made it lower since it's supposed to be a sport package.

any ideas??

SXT has a ground clearance of 6.6 and a turning diameter of 35.5 feet. The R/T has a ground clearance of 7.0 and a turning diameter of 37.2 feet. Slightly larger wheels and slightly longer struts to compesate for the rear differential.

May I ask how the Chrome is cheap and the Painted grill is nicer?
I think it is personal preference. I hope someone will come out with a grille insert that is wider, like the Magnum's grille, then it will be body color. Until then I would go chrome, thin, factory one. Body color make it flow nicer, and if someone got a black Caliber, it would look sweet blacked out, again personal preference.

I am getting a black caliber so should I try to black out my chrome grill? Or just steal the black colored grill of my sisters caliber??

Actually it is personal preferance. Check this link for an example of the SRT (painted grille)
http://www.drivesrt.com/en/dodge/caliber/index.html?pid=Forum&adid=Caliber_FI_Auto&rid=

My personal opinion is that the fake chrome plastic trim looks cheap on any car. In the past the R/T models were all painted grills. Now, the SRT's are painted.

A lot of other Neon owners are painting there grill trim that have the fake chrome. Again, it is whatever you like.
