i have a 2007 caliber sxt, i had a external amp and two 12's in it for probly a year...i got tired of the system and pulled out the amp and speakers..only to have the radio stop working about 2 months later. i pulled the radio and there is no power going to it. i checked the fuses under the hood and they are all good. i have no clue what else to check ...?

Have you checked the power wire with a voltmeter or just assume theres no power because its not turning on? If you are certain its not the radio and its because there is no power going to it, youll need to follow the wiring diagram and troubleshoot along the path.

Is this the factory radio or aftermarket? Im not sure about the factory radio, but aftermarket ones have internal fuses which may be the cause. Its possible if you left a few wires after pulling the amp (ie. Blue remote wire), it couldve of shorted and blew the fuse.
