Hey guys, I may be heading out on a big road trip with the Caliber.

From Edmonton, Alberta to Nova Scotia. Over 5500km!!
I will be leaving the first week of August, and will be updating this thread with my preparations and cross country photos!

Lets see how she stands up:)

Hey when you get to Nova Scotia, try to hit up Halifax. Went there in my Navy days and had a great time. The casino is a lot of fun there and suprisingly well placed. Who would have thought putting it right next to the piers would be a good idea? Seriously though, if you don't have a good time in Halifax, you're not trying hard enough.

I met a guy in NYC once who'd been in the Navy. He swore that the best Souvlaki in the world was in Halifax. Oddly enough that always stuck in my mind!

get an Ipod to go with the ipod holder :) Good luck with your trip... I did a 2200 mile trip from Rochester, NY to Albuquerque, NM with my Cali and enjoyed it. Have fun!

I've got another trip to North Dakota planned... thankfully it will be a one-way trip considering we are moving... about 1000 mi total. Unfortunately, I can't tow the Caliber behind on the moving truck car trailer... only goes up to 16" tires??/ Instead, I'll drive the 16ft moving truck that will be towing a 2000 Chevy Impala (wife's car). Then the wife will drive the Caliber.
