This past weekend I did an advanced search for Calibers on the Dodge website. I put in the search for dealers within 2000 miles. I live in Machesney Park, Il, about 12 miles from Belvidere(Home of the Caliber!). One dealer,I believe it was in California, had 28 Calibers in stock. It was interesting. I know,am I bored or what? I just wanted to see how Calibers were showing up at dealers across the country and what colors they were getting.

I’ve had the opportunity to speak with a few people wishing to purchase this vehicle and have given them a strong suggestion. Contact your dealership for availability or factory order, they go fast.

The Caliber seems to be flying out of dealership showrooms in some areas lasting less then 24 hours before being snapped by a customer. Overall interest has been strong and demand has been steadily increasing. So
far were pleased with the Caliber’s initial success.

Heh, now we just have to give all new buyers a little card telling them to sign up on caliberforums.com to share their experiences! :)
It may be an idea, some dealerships offer discount to forum members. Granted this would be totally dependant on the dealership but it may be an idea.

When I had my DSM we used to print cards and leave them with other DSM's we came across. Might be an idea for some of you to pursue.

Yeah, if this site had a FAQ for new owners (I'm sure as we get more new owners, it'll be easier to see which questions they routinely have), that'd be an interesting way for a dealership to introduce new owners to a way to have questions answered without those owners feeling silly about having to ask someone those questions (ie: where the sunroof button is, recommended cleaning products, etc)
